I absolutely loved making this bag but got a bit confused trying to do the front zipper pocket as I’ve never seen one done like this before. Good job there was a video to watch again and again and I got there in the end. The gold faux leather compliments the gold metallic in the material. I just love this bag.

Overall I’m pleased with the pattern, with one exception. I would not advise the use of a #3 zipper – the tape is too narrow, which makes it exremely difficult to move the zipper pull in order to stitch past it. I had to remove my zipper foot to accomplish this. It certainly made zipper insertion stressful, not enjoyable.

The directions and video were great. I made this without the lower overlay because I don’t have those materials. I used the waist connectors and love that option.
