ABOUT THE TREMONT:
A great everyday bag, the Tremont organizes all your necessities. With the double zipper opened fully, you can easily locate your belongings in the gusseted main compartment.  Four card slots and one slip pocket built into the lining hold your credit cards and cash, while zippered pockets on the front exterior and in the lining help organize small items. A back exterior slip pocket secures with a magnetic snap and keeps your phone and essentials accessible.   The adjustable crossbody strap clips to two swivel hooks.

Great bag to make and can be for all age groups

  3. Brenda T. (Verified Buyer)

Love, love this crossbody bag! It’s light weight but sturdy, and the side gussets allow you to locate your “stuff” without rifling through your bag. Do keep as much interfacing out of the seam allowances as possible; top stitching through all of the layers is tough, but doable. I will be making several.

I’ve been eyeing this pattern for quite a while and can’t believe I waited this long to buy it! I am about 90% finished with my first bag and love how it is turning out. The instructions are exceptional- detailed and easy to follow- enough so for a beginner to give it a go. I appreciate the options given based on having a domestic v industrial machine. The bag itself is the perfect size, is functional, stylish, and ideal for day to day use. I will definitely be making more Tremont Xbody Bags in the future!

    Great pattern was clear instructions

  6. Beverley (Verified Buyer)

I am delighted with this pattern. The written and photographic instructions are extremely thorough and if in doubt there are the video tutorials to fall back on.
I made the mistake of using too heavy fabric for the outer trim. This would be good for future bags of this pattern but not the first one as some of the seams are quite bulky. My fault, not the pattern. When I make my next bag I will send you a pic.
Thanks for a brilliant pattern, I will definitely be buying from you again

Very well designed and clear instructions. However I increase pattern by 20% and made it 2 inches wider. PERFECT. Also changed the inside to have wider card slots ( x 2 across) and extra slip pockets on the other side for small zippy purses so travel items are easier to find . Still working on it so no photos yet. Made it for travelling to Europe. Love it.

Fun sew with great results. Video was very clear and helpful. I chose a rectangular piece of leather with D-rings as the base so I can attach backpack straps when needed. Pictured is a shoulder strap.
