Bag Jewelry in Minutes

Did you know creating a tassel is super easy and quick to make?

Whether you want to use up a scrap of leftover accent material, or add a fabric-backed tassel to coordinate with the bag you’re making, my YouTube tutorial will walk you through all the steps to creating this fun embellishment.

I had a bit of leftover cork after making this Delmar Wristlet — just enough to make this pretty tassel!

This grass green cork accent is from Beans and Peanuts, one of their many colors to choose from

With a few supplies you probably already have on hand, you can make a tassel to accent your beautiful handmade bags.   My YouTube tutorial walks you through turning a scrap of leftover cork, vinyl, or leather into a lovely piece of bag jewelry.  All of the supplies are covered in my video.

Tassel hardware is available from most bag hardware suppliers.  Many fabric and craft stores also carry tassel hardware.

With a bit of leftover fabric and some Iron-on Adhesive, such as HeatnBond, you can add fabric to the back of your tassel.

In minutes you’ll have a tassel to clip on to your bag.

I hope you find the tutorial helpful.  Thanks for watching!  Happy embellishing!
