Awesome bag! A small, comfortable and functional crossbody with a pocket for everything. The instructions (and video) make it a breeze to sew up. There seems to be a lot of steps and pieces when you first look at it — but it really does come together nicely. Step by step and presto — you have a nice bag!

I love the Clarendon crossbody. I did find some of the steps in the videos hard to follow. However, I was able to find someone on youtube making the same bag and I was able to flip back and forth. One video covered the gaps that the other one did not.

Love this little purse. I am going to attempt to make it 1” wider on the next one. It is so nice to have the credit card slots, no need for a wallet. I’m also going to attempt to put a zipper pocket on the inside. I found the two zippers on the flap can become bulky if you put a lot of stuff in there. Already purchased fabric for next one.

I am new to machine sewing and working with fabric (typically hand sew leather). This pattern is well designed and the written instructions paired with the video were awesome. My first attempt was successful enough to use and carry. Looking forward to trying it again now that I have a better understanding of what I’m doing.
