ABOUT THE ROXBURY POUCH:
The Roxbury Pouch comes in three sizes and can be made in two ways:
(Version 1 – With Elastic) This easy zippered pouch secures to any sized journal, planner, or notebook with an elastic band.
(Version 2 – Without Elastic) The Roxbury Pouch corrals loose items of all kinds. Make all three sizes for a darling trio of pouches.
A great scrap buster, this pattern requires minimal materials and time to create, making the Roxbury Pouch a simple and enjoyable project for new and experienced sewists alike.
Small 2 1/2” H x 7” W
Medium 3” H x 8” W
Large 4” H x 8 3/4” W
ABOUT THE PATTERN:
Photos and illustrations accompany detailed, tutorial-style instructions for creating both versions of the Roxbury Pouch. Both printable pattern templates and cutting chart dimensions are included. A team of 16 testers vetted this pattern, testing varied methods and interfacings, editing, revising, and clarifying — ensuring your successful outcome.
Allow more fabric if fussy cutting or matching prints, plaids, and stripes.
- Fabric I : Fat Quarter cotton or canvas (Exterior Front Top, Exterior Back, Zipper Tab)
- Fabric II : 5” x 11” cotton or canvas (Exterior Front Bottom)
- Fabric III : Fat Quarter cotton or canvas (Lining)
- ¼ yard Woven Interfacing
- Optional 12” x 12” Sew-In Interfacing (for light weight cotton only)
For either Version 1 (With Elastic) & Version 2 (WIthout Elastic):
- Small Pouch: 7” (or longer) zipper
- Medium/Large Pouch: 9” (or longer) zipper
- Washable Fabric Pen
For Version 1 (With Elastic) only:
- ½ yard (1” wide) elastic
- Notebook, Journal, or Planner

The Roxbury Pouch pattern and instructions may only be purchased from me. Distribution or replication of pattern and/or instructions is expressly prohibited.
